Our #1 goal at Petsies (a brand of Budsies Co, LLC) is to create a handmade stuffed animal lookalike of your pet that you fall in love with. Whether it’s to celebrate your current pet or honor a past pet, your Petsies plush is way more than a stuffed animal: it is a tribute to your furry best friend!
Who is Covered?
We make this easy. Anyone who owns a Petsies custom stuffed animal product can benefit from the Petsies Craftmanship Limited Warranty. The warranty is completely transferable. No product registration is required.
What is Covered?
If your stuffed animal arrives with a defect listed below or a defect manifests within the first 90 days of ownership, we will either touch-up or replace the plush at no charge to you. The following are covered under the limited warranty:
That’s because the stuffed animal isn't your dog :) All jokes aside, it’s important to set the expectations that a stuffed animal will never have the same twinkle in its eye or curl its lips up the same way as your actual animal. We pride ourselves on sewing handmade stuffed animals that match your dog as best as a plush lookalike can. But we, like every artist, are limited by the fact that we use hypoallergenic plush and specialty plastic eyes... whereas real dogs have… well… real fur and real eyes!
Due to the custom, handmade nature of our service, we cannot offer refunds for differences of design opinion outside of this warranty. If you are unhappy with the custom stuffed animal you received for a reason not covered by the warranty, we still want to do our best to make you happy! Outside the terms of this limited warranty, Petsies has a standing policy to address occasional instances of artistic difference by offering to create an entirely new plush for you based on your design direction for a reduced price of $75. What is Not Covered
In addition to what’s mentioned above, customers using the Sneak Peek upgrade may be ineligible for specific warranties because those customers reviewed and approved the design of their plush (more info). Furthermore, failures due to misuse, abuse, alteration, or normal wear and tear of the product are not covered by this limited warranty. Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use. Some parts will wear out with use and fabrics will deteriorate and fade over time. And while we choose the best materials available for the application, all materials degrade over time with use and exposure to the elements. Like any keepsake, we recommend keeping your custom plush out of direct sunlight and other natural elements that could degrade the materials.
It is our experience that a product that fails prematurely due to a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship, will generally do so very early in the product's life cycle, often the first or second time the product is examined and handled. When returned for inspection, these products are generally found to still be in like-new or very good condition and show very little signs of use. It is uncommon for a product that was manufactured with a defect, to survive under normal use for any extended period of time. The most common demand for service is the result of normal wear and tear issues, which are not considered to be a defect in materials or workmanship. Petsies has sole discretion to determine the manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship.
